New stones from Venev and picture's.

Do you know if the legacy 1200 & 2000 stones offer any benefit in sharpening past the legacy 800?
Also what the difference between the legacy 800 and the new OCB 800?

800 OCB + 1200 OCB will be the ultra-fine dual-side diamond in 8"x3" and 6"x1" including Hapstone diamond bundle, and pocket size as well.

I see the 8" x 3" bonded diamond stone grits have been updated. I'm really looking forward to the update of the 6" x 1" stones, I'm going to take the opportunity to pick up a Hapstone M2 with that stone bundle.

I got the metallic bonded diamond stones that came with my m2 kickstarter. Similar to the cbn variety. And while they get refreshed differently (acid bath), they are really good stones so far. I like them better than my gen 1 venev stone's for the kme. You might also be interested in trying the edge pro diamond matrix stone's. Lots of good reviews and iirc they are available now.

6"x1" will be updated later this year, probably in May. Price for the set will go up from $65 to $78. The time when it happens, M2 will be a new revision with the linear bearing, with $20 price increment. Total + $33. Take it into account.
