Emersons are the same when they're new - rough as a warthog's balls. Carry and use em and they'll be smooth as cream within 6 months to a year.
The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is available! Price is $250 ea (shipped within CONUS).

Congrats on your new strider. Buy what you want and do what you like dude, there are lots of "haters" out on the internet, dont worry about them.
We live in a free country where we can buy what we want, do what makes you happy, and ON BLADEFORUMS I'm quite sure most of us fellow KNIFE LOVERS would appreciate 3 new strider knives, and not considder you
to be trying to be something you are not, or suggest that you were a youtube warrior or should have spent your money on a rifle. Which for all we know you could have had 3 of those rifles already.
I would bet that there are probably 10 times as many "youtube" warriors as Soldiers that own Striders.
The AR 15 comment comes way out of left field. Why would you assume that the original poster has any interest in that
As for the part I bolded, that's just rude and ignorant considering you probably know nothing about the thread starter.
I'll be breaking in a GB tomorrow.![]()
My SnG is still stiff after two years. Striders aren't pocket jewelry, they are hard use tools, so hard use is what the ergonomics are geared to.
I am sure they highly appreciate stiff action and having to struggle with the blade. Especially when they're in a hurry, or injured or simply tired...Soldiers on patrol, in the field, and performing work use them.
Rrright... Can't we all get along? At least without looking down on non Strider guys?Youtube warriors aren't the selected market.
