New Strider SNG stop pin question

I just purchased a new Strider SNG Tanto with lego grips from an authorized dealer. I have a question about the stop pins. The stop pins seem to be much shorter on the new one compared to another SNG I have (and have seen online). There also seems to be a cap on the ti side to help with lock up. The lock up is rock solid, so that is not my concern. The only thing that bugs me is that the G10 side stop pin is so short that I am unable to flick open the blade with it. I called the dealer and I was told that differences in the sizes if of the stop pins from knife to knife is normal and he said "if we get a batch of 5 striders, all of them are pretty different". From what I have seen online, most of the stop pin lengths are pretty consistent(longer and like my CC). Here is a picture below comparing the new SNG stop pins to my CC SNG stop pins(which I think are the typical ones). Any help would be appreciated.

That looks horrible. I won't say my opinion of Strider; however, those pins seem way too small and misshaped.

They seem to change in length and diameter with each batch.
I dint flip my knives open but if it bugs uou just return it. Being asymmetrical would definitely annoy me.
I dont care how long or thick they are but that one looks terrible.

Interesting,Strider doesn't cap. The CC pin looks like it's crudely been removed.

Thanks guys for the responses. Yeah, I'm afraid I got a knife someone returned or something because I've never seen stop pins that short with one side pre capped. And if strider doesn't cap them, then this knife shouldn't have been sold as new because it obviously was tampered with.

Interestingly enough, the order also included a 21 large insingo, and the blade is off centered. I really got unlucky with this order. Think I'll be returning both for exchanges, hopefully they cover the shipping though. When spending close to $1k on 2 knives and my $30 Walmart gerber has better fit and finish. I guess u win some u loose some....

Are my eyes playing tricks on me or is one side much thicker than the other?

Either way not impressed with either for the price point these go for. ..........

Yes the lock up side has a much larger diameter then the g10 side. Both are also about half the length of the cc version next to it.

I don't want to have to pay for their warranty service for a brand new knife. I received the knives Friday so I should be able to return them without issue to the retailer.

I wanted to give an update. I spoke with the retailer and confirmed this is a new SNG. The Stop pins can vary a little from batch to batch so this is normal. Also, my SNG CC that I compared it to sometimes waves open on my pocket due to the longer thumb studs so I am actually happy they are shorter(as I won't be flicking this open anyway to be honest). In regards to the way it looks, I really don't care about the symmetry because this will be a user and I kind of like the character it gives, shows how much hand work goes into these. Overall, now that I know this is a genuine SNG I am very pleased with it. Time to put this baby through its paces...

I'd also say if your first Strider is waving out b/c of the longer studs, take the blade off and grind them down a bit. Shouldn't take much and you could probably do a better job than Strider did on your new one.

I also find it curious as to why a standard part (stop pin) would be different for each batch. I could understand if they are one-off customs, but even then, they would only be off by fractions of a fraction.
