new stuff from tops that caugth my eye

i'm a huge fan of TOPS knives and own a alot as of lately ..lol

the ATAX looks like our Alaskan ULU ..im not sure if thats the purpose of it or not ..

I have had a Wolf Pup for a couple of years, I like it. Just got an ATAX in the mail last week, I haven't had time to play with it or watch the DVD but it looks like it is pretty well made. I am currently looking at the SAW, does anybody own of these? - Mike

I have Ron's video of the ATAX. I will send anyone for free if they want it.

OK, guys, when I get the video we will make up a list of who else gets it after that. Go right ahead and post here if you're interested!

I am sending Esav the VHS out today (media mail). I tried yesterday but it was a holiday.

Then he can send it to whoever. I don't need it back.

OK, I'll stay in touch with people who list here or email me at ebhausman at gmail dot com and keep it in circulation.

The Tops pry knife looks really nice. I bought my SWAT team son-in-law a Becker tac tool. This one looks even better. If you couldn't pry the rock off your arm you could use it to amputate it!!!!

If you couldn't pry the rock off your arm you could use it to smash the rock apart!!!!

I have owned several differnt knives from TOPS over the years and have liked all of them. They are hell for stout and have so many models that there's one for every possible use on the planet! They have linked up with some really great makers and designers too.

Thanks to Chris, I got the ATAX video this morning. I will watch it this evening, and probably tomorrow night also. Then it's up for grabs, so whoever wants to go on the list, email me and we'll get it on its rounds.

I don't know what's going on, but I also got a shipment of a walking stick from Wisconsin in the same 2 days -- shipped Tuesday, arrived today. NO COMPLAINTS! :D

The ATAX video is ready to go on to its next viewer. After that, we have no other addresses to send it to. Anyone else interested?

Here's what I thought of it:

The video wasn't bad, it moved right along, and it showed an interesting variety of uses for the ATAX. Some of them would probably be served better by a plastic wallet card with all the markings, but as long as he had room on it, why not? As he indicated, it's an all-purpose back-up along with being an axe & cutting tool.

I'm not sure that it's overpriced. The market will determine that. The manufacturer generally sells at the highest price, anyway. Can't tell by me, since I don't "need" this kind of tool. Ask someone who spends time in the deep woods and doesn't want any more specialized tools or weight than he has to carry.

Esav, what kind of stick? Try sending that tape to somebody who can turn it into DVD if that's Ok. Be easier to mail

The stick was a Mendowood cane.

I don't think it's OK to be producing extra free copies of a commercial item.
