New Stuff

Your SFNO Variant looks alot like Jerry's new Tank Buster proto's.

Selectively quoting to try to answser some questions:

Cool stuff Rick; Bring that Colt over for a tryout.

You bet. I've been taking my son up to the Unified Sportsmen's range outside of Rexburg. He'd love an excuse to go shoot some more.

Very nice blades! Hard to decide which is nicer, the Saber or Full Flat Swayback Jack?

It is hard. The stock thickness is the same for both, so the saber has a more obtuse grind angle. But it has a bit more visual appeal than the original. The swedge on the original is much more pronounced. It could be sharpened without too much effort. The new one is purely cosmetic: from above, you can't even tell there is a swedge grind. I'll have to think about it some before choosing a favorite.

Rick you buzzard. Where did you get that Harpoon???????????????
Man that's nice.

I've had it for a couple of years. I'll let my partner confess if he wishes. To give you some idea, I traded a satin and black paper HOFSH for it.

Nice scores, those swaybacks are freaking super sweet.

They really are nifty. There's a funny story about my first one. It arrived (it was one of a handful from a Ganza) and had an edge that was blunter than my butter knife. It turned out Jerry had sent the model knife, which is kept dull to prevent injuries during photography. He quickly asked me to send it back and it returned in full air-bleeding mode.

I thought that as well. The difference is the SF handle vice the TAC. I really like these magnum SF handles.

To everyone else (including Kendra!), thanks for the compliments.
