The Boker Germany website has the new items posted. Here is a link to the Boker Plus items; http://www.boker.de/neuheiten-boeker-plus.html
We will start getting translations and more info on the US site as our catalog gets complete, and we know dates etc.
Some pretty cool stuff coming...

Any reason I should get excited about recently announced new Boker Plus knives when Boker seems unable to deliver their previously announced new Boker Plus knives . . . knives such as the 02BO190 Kressler Subhilt?

Things happen....production priorities changes for a wide variety of possible reasons. Show me one major knife company that hasn't missed a release date.

That's as it may be. But as far as I'm concerned, once a company misses a release date and doesn't announce IN ADVANCE that they're going to miss it, their credibility is called into question. don Miguel Ruiz said it far better than I could: "Be impeccable with your word."

Here is another quote from don Miguel Ruiz

When you love, you don't expect something to happen; whatever happens is okay, and hardly anything disappoints you.

I agree. Still, the facts are the facts. And the fact is, Boker announces new products before delivering products they've previously announced. So back to my original question. Why should I get excited by new Boker product announcements?

The fact is every major knife manufacture announces new products. Every major knife manufacture tries to hit their release dates. Every major knife manufacture misses these release dates on occasion. Are you saying if Boker misses a release date, they should not announce any additional knives until they are all caught up? Would this have to include all the Boker branded products being produced in Germany, Argentina, Taiwan and China?

Bld,
Yes, we missed the date on the Kressler, and 2 other models. We are also experiencing issues with getting sheaths in to ship the other knives we have in stock. I have apologized for this, and release info when I get it.

That being said, we have delivered most of the new product, and will do our best to get the new stuff I linked to here out in as timely a fashion as possible.
I just posted this as a little appetizer for what is coming later this year and early next year.

Any new handle materials coming next year for the Boker classic pocketknives? Love the beer barrel stuff that came out this year.

Dumb question: how are the Subcom 42 and Trance 42 different from those already in the catalog?

FWIW, the Microcom looks cool...

Agreed. The question in my mind was whether "on occasion" occurred occasionally or habitually. Terry answered my question.

By the way, I spend quite a bit of time in the world of the Fabulous Busse Brothers. Missing release dates for those guys has risen to an art form. So I don't get upset when a release date is missed. I just like to know the score.

Pre-ordering a Microcom the first day, can't get enough of Chad's smaller designs. Props on the lock-free Trance and Subcom, I can see them catching on quickly.
