New Style Japanese Forging Hammer

David Farmer gave me the steel and the idea of this hammer. Has a better downward feel and rebound that a round or octogan hammer. just want to share. The handle on it was just a demo handle, not what I am permantely putting with it...

going to give the edges a slight contour and the corners, heat treated 1/4" depth

what do yall think?

I like it. I got one almost just like it, face of mine is a little more square in dimensions with rounded corners. It is the best hammer for forging bevels I have ever used.

i TOTALLY AGREE WITH THE FUNCTION OF THESE HAMMERS. I MADE THEM BEFORE USING ONE AND WHAT A SHOCKER COMPARED TO MY ROUND ONES I MAKE
