This Knife Style LC is a new style for me. These knives are ground from 1/8" thick 01 TOOL STEEL bar stock and each have a FULL TAPERED TANG.
The SPALTED INK LINE MAPLE is 6 ½" long with a 3 1/4" cutting edge. At its widest part (at the belly), the blade is 1 3/16". This knife also has a BLACK VULCANIZED SPACER and a 1/4" micarta lanyard tube. The lanyard has two beads handturned from the same Spalted Maple as the handle.

The DYED QUILTED MAPLE is 6 ½" long with a 3 1/4" cutting edge. At its widest part (at the belly), the blade is 1 3/16". This knife also has a BRICK COLORED VULCANIZED SPACER and a 1/4" Stainless Steel lanyard tube. The lanyard has two beads handturned from the same Quilted Maple as the handle. There are also two Stainless Steel Pins, which measure 3/16" in the handle.

Thanks for looking. I do love making knives. It is my passion, my art. Every knife that I make is for sale and it is still a thrill when each of them sell!!

That maple is insane, should call it mosaic instead of quilted. I'll bet it was almost crumbling to dust before stabilizing.

Indian George, Thanks for the comment. I've been working on this design for a while and am happy with the outcome.

Suz, Thank YOU. Good luck on the surgery!!

Martin (SpearZ), Thanks. Good to hear from you again.

Scriven, Thank you. I had fun making them.

Butch and Will, I fell in love with both of the Maple pieces and have been waiting for just the PERFECT knives to use them on.

edgemaster, Thanks for the offer. These knives have been sold and are not available to trade. Sorry.

pbmonkey, Thanks for the comment. I loved the woods so much that, quite frankly, I was almost tempted to keep these knives for myself!! :D
Thanks again,
Rick
