thawk Joined Oct 28, 2006 Messages 5,978 Dec 28, 2010 #2 The SS30 (3" lockback, drop point blade and the SS627, 2 5/8" double blade) are shown as new issues in the 2000 catalog. http://www.collectors-of-schrades-r.us/Catalogs/images/2000-CATS.pdf However, the SS627 is also shown as a new issue in the 1983 catalog also, along with the SS648 (3 1/4" three bladed 3rd Generation series) http://www.collectors-of-schrades-r.us/Catalogs/images/1983-CATS.pdf The AAPK website is a good place to look up what years each pattern was issued, and introduced. I found these under the "Newer Schrade Models" http://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/schrade_knives/index.php Many thanks to Larry Vickery (LRV) and Dale Vincent (Orvet) for the information on these sites.
