Just thought I would post some pics of my latest addition to the SHTF set-up. So here they are...

Now if I have to get out of town in a hurry I can.

PeACE
Dougo

PS--I added some pics of the Ranger that didn't survive the accident.

Unless you dont pass a gas station or 2.

Hehe, JK man, sharp truck, I like that body style alot better than the new ones.:barf:

It actually gets decent mileage. My former truck didn't survive a 50mph collision on Monday, so this is the replacement. The other was a 1991 Ranger and actually got worse than this truck does on the highway.

Dougo..
I built some houses down Old Burnet Rd..if that is the road on the left as you head into Lago Vista. Big money homes...down by the water, Bro.
Do you ever go shooting in Leander? Great truck by the way. Gene

Thanks...I actually haven't gotten out to Leander to shoot. I'd rather save the money and drive to the farm in Brenham. You built houses in The Hollows? My truck is actually facing Old Burnet Rd in the pics, looking downhill on it from about 100' away. I was offered a job working security for them. I may take them up since it is less than a mile from my house.

Yup, back when I lived in Austin. I used to drive from South Austin everyday..then I bought a house on the north side..that made life a bit easier. I used to work and hang in that area alot...one of the offices I worked for was on 1431. My brother lived on north 183. How was SAXET? Was Bob there with about 10 tables of knives? Gene

SAXET was alright. I got a Taurus .357 to replace my current duty weapon and picked up a Surge for about 50% retail. I don't remember meeting Bob, but there was an old dude with about 20 display boxes of Case, etc knives

Nice truck Doug. I won't make the show this weekend, but we'll have to try another link up in September if schedules are okay. Uncle Sam has had me traveling around a lot, but September should be relatively quite.

ROCK6

Thanks ROCK and no worries. I was only there for a bit. Went back today though and picked up a beauty of a Buck 110 with rosewood grips. The guy also had a Buck 120 with a blade that was 2" longer than the standard. If anyone knows: is that a fake or a rarity?
