The dementions are 13 oal, 7 3/4 inch blade. Used it to chop through 2x4 halfway before board gave away. Then chopped through 2 inch dead oak limb, then made repeated strikes into a stump. Still shaves. I think I am going to like working with 5160 steel.

Mark,

Nice! It looks beautiful with the rough finish - nice and functional!

Now just to be clear on the title of your thread: Was "For Brian" referring to the pic or the knife? ;) :D:D:D:D

Mark - will shoot you the PM. If I can hold onto it through April 26-27, I can pass it around at the CT Gathering so others can get a feel for your work, too!

Looking forward to taking her for a spin, Mark! I'll post a review here and in some of the other pertinent forums!

Well, it's not a RAZR, but hopefuly will work... LOL... Look for it in about 7 days Brian, and Brett, you are on the order list...
Hope you have as much fun with it as I had building it. Just getting back in a groove in the shop. My mother fell on the ice and broke her kneecap into, so been a hectic few weeks... just a relief to get back in front of the anvil.

Mark

I like the looks of it there is just some thing about a 7 " type knife that is just awsome.
Nice job. Have you done much with 5160?

Bryan

Looks good, I'm not really big on Cord Rapped handles, but this one looks Awesome!! I would be proud to carry it! Gene

Nice and simple yet functional tool. Too many customs are pretty! :D

Seriously, what more could you need in a knife that size? (nothing)
