new sympton of HIKV discovered...

Like I've said any number of times, it's only starvation! To be honest, though, I've had some really good luck when fellow forumites have had to disavail themselves of some nice Khukuris.

I don't know why, but I seem to spend more time handling the Khukuris than any other type of knife I own. It just seems reasonable to check the edge, polish the blades, or shine up the brass. It's more work than most of my custom stainless stuff, but I find it very relaxing to do every evening or so.

Watch out, "charels" and Anton, one Khukuris always seems to lead to another. I fully sympathize with "tique" who is afraid that continued presence of a WWII will affect his knife collecting habits. Selling it, nonwithstanding, I'll bet it already has!!

btw i like chiruwa, more chiruwa more better

:
Charels when did the Chiruwa Sirupati ship?
I have had khukuris take anywhere from 3 to 7 days to reach me.
Of course the ecitement is almost always intense the last one I got that I was really excited about was my YCS.
When it didn't come on Friday I just "Knew" it wouldn't be here till Monday, but the PO really fooled me and delivered it on Saturday!!!
Not only made my day, It Made The Whole Weekend!!!
Actually I still haven't gotten over it.

"VEGETARIAN".............
Indin word for lousy hunter.

Yvsa, i think mine got shipped on, or around the 13-14 of this month. been quite a while now, but unk told me that it took 45 days once to get something shipped, so hopefully it will get here in due time.
btw, i also get excited waiting for things to come in the mail, makes me feel like a 12 year old, waiting for his first bb gun, on christmas eve...

I used Global Priority to ship a knife to a friend in Austria. Mailed it Dec 27th. It still hasn't gotten there.....and after inquiring about it at the PO, I have my doubts that it will EVER arrive. GRRRRRRRR!!
