New table for h.f. bandsaw

I just made a new table to replace the flimsy ones that come with the harbor freight horizontal/vertical bandsaw. It is pretty small maybe 2'' x 3'' and made out of 5/32 1095. Do you guys think I should leave it annealed?

i wouldnt bother hardening it...and i think you will quickly find you want a bigger table...mines about 8x8 i think. cant imagine using a smaller one

I'm with Cory. I wouldn't bother hardening it but I would personally prefer a larger table. I think several people around here use micarta.

I have an eight by twelve table that I made up for mine. It is just 1/4 inch plate but one thing I did do it paint it. Makes it slicker to slide your blade material across and then doesn't rust. Mike
