This is another new tactical design from me... It seems like every possible bird of prey name has already been used on knives ad-nauseum, but not the poor Zone-Tail, which incidentally fits quite nicely with the design of the knife, as I designed it to have multiple grip areas.

I think this is amongst my favorites. This is the first of this new pattern, and came out quite striking IMO.

CTS-XHP @60rc, .155" thick
Hollow ground w/hollow swedge
4" edge length, 8.75" OAL, 7.2oz
Black G10, 416ss hardware

I'd like to get $250 shipped for this one. Price includes Kydex sheath. Tek-Lok and/or leather sheath available for extra charge.

I like the knife, looks to me it would be a good edc utility blade.
good name too, if you need a new one for the next knife I have always liked the Kingfisher :D

Thanks for the comments. :)

It's a lot of knife in a small package, even with the finger sized choil. Super versatile with different grip positions. Easy draw without having to change your hand position to use the knife... that was one of the main goals.

Ian,

I'm not in a position to get one right know, but what would be a rough ballpark for this design with thunderstorm Kevlar and copper hardware?

Thanks,
Michael

Thanks man!

It would be a very modest increase. A larger than normal portion of the cost on this one is labor, takes some extra time getting all the nooks and crannies finished right.
