New Tactical

WOW! I loved the look of the old model, maybe more than the new one, but this looks very practical. That's a whole lot of cutting power in a small package!! Now, how about a smaller version for those of us in suits????

That is great! That looks like a great user on top of really looking nice. If the old tactical model is the knife in your avatar, I'd have to say its a toss up. I really like them both.
Its hard to find knives with lines and style like that anymore. Seems like all the tactical lineup and most other knives are going for wild lines, corners, and cut outs.
If I wasn't such a poor bastid, I'd order one. But since I am I'm gonna keep attempting to make them an pretend they look that good ;)

The knife in my avatar is actually one of my newer models, the gents/tac aka the Bulldog. I should have proto #2 done later today, I'll try to remember to put an old tac in the pic as a reference.

PS, yes I am planning on a smaller version of this, I'm thinking of a balde length of 3.25" to match the others in that size. Let me know what size you guys would like to see. I'm also planning on a larger one with like a 5" blade, and .083 liners.
 
I'm not really a big enthusiast of folders though I do like and use them a lot. However, I REALLY like this one. It looks exceptionally practical. The handle looks very secure and ergonomic and the blade looks like an efficient cutter. The belly out toward the tip would let it pass the peanut butter spreading test that so many narrow sharp pointed blades fail in my EDC test. I'm not overly fond of recurves but this one's recurve is not overdone like so many. It looks attractive and most importantly to me, very usable. Great job. I looked on the website but couldn't find a price on these models. Will that be listed in the future? Great job!
 
yesyesyes, a 3.25" blade would be PERFECT, even 3" would be good. Maybe pretty it up with some exotic handle material so the sheeple will understand it's ART, fercryinoutloud . . . mmmmmmmm. . . . . . :D
 
Here's the second proto. The top knife is one of the old tacticals, new one below. Carbon Fibre handles, bead blast SS bolsters, Satin finish blade. Was going to handrub this one, but realized I was running out of light, and wanted to get a pic up. Actually quite happy with the satin finish though. This one is a little narrower and thinner than the first. -- Charles
