I have a couple of customs that I never had thought to part with. Unfortunately, I find I need to sell to help a friend with some medical bills, otherwise, I'd be holding on to them. All prices include shipping and paypal fees. Will entertain reasonable offers.
PLEASE send me a private message or email me at _______ I don't check in as often as I'd like and would prefer not to ignore anyone. Feel free to ask questions. Remember: the sale is not finished until you're happy with it.
Up first is a new Takach Forge custom 3" full-convex blade. This one is hand forged from 1/4" stock (some of the hammer marks were purposefully left on). Steel is 5160, scales are polished black micarta. It is insanely hair-popping sharp--much sharper than you'd think 1/4" steel could get (I did run it across my strop a couple times to ensure maximum hair-poppingness
). This would make a fantastic hunting blade (which had been my plan) or indestructible EDC. Comes with a tooled leather pouch sheath. Asking $120 for this one.
Second is a brand new Jeff White French style patch knife. This blade is perfect for camp, EDC, reenactors, or just to admire. It is also wickedly sharp--it came that way and I stropped it to get it even more so. Thin stock, hand forged, convex 1095 steel. Gorgeous curly maple handles. Brand new leather pouch sheath included. Those that know Jeff's work know that he cranks out blades at an amazing rate trying to keep prices down for those that want a reasonably priced hand forged blade. He usually does larger blades (nessmucks, 5" trade knives, larger camp knives, etc.), but once in a while he does one of these little gems. It is an incredible slicing machine and a beautiful piece. Asking $60.
Buy both for $150!
Thanks for looking.
