New thrower with a target question

Finally, a few shots to show how this area looks without me moving in close for pictures.

This final one demonstrates the various distances, depths and heights of targets.

All Lowland Scot DNA here. Married to another lowland Scot but she's of Viking descent. I'm 61 and pretty good shape thanks to a "Paleo" diet which has relieved me of any blood pressure issues and all or our arthritis. A bad fall on my mtn bike two years ago and resulting pains made me try the diet. It has been great for both of us!

Thanks for the vote of confidence! I can generally hit the targets with the knives but the pointy parts only seem to fall in right when certain planets align and barometric pressure is just right. Honestly, I have good days and bad days (the other day was a good one) and I can't tell what seems to allow me to miss nothing and stick everything one day and entirely miss almost everything the next. very frustrating! I do believe that things are still slowly improving.

I do know that nearby limbs, shadows, bad lighting and many other things really screw up my throwing. I got an old picture frame with wide plank sides and mounted it on a push broom pole. I am moving it around and throwing through it at different targets. It seems to help me ignore what is around my target and what else I might hit so that I concentrate on only what I am aiming to hit. It also makes me work on throwing much flatter toward my targets since the frame is fairly small and I hit its sides if don't push more than I arc the throw. I am also standing next to the shop for some throws so that I have a 25' solid wall to my left and have to ignore it.
