New Tactical Knives magazine ad. Our knives may be ugly, but you have to admit we hang around some pretty hot women.

A lot of folks don't use pretty women anymore in ads since they say it doesn't sell well. We don't really give a damn if it sells knives or not. ;) Some say that it doesn't accurately reflect what the knife is intended for (since you would never see a beautiful woman with makeup on in the wilds using a knife). Again, we don't give a damn. Our knives are serious tools. The ads are made for looking at.

Great ad, but you have to spill the dirt on the RAT LEs. Since its a Rat Cutlery ad it can't be a reference to the Ontario RAT LEs, so lets hear about the RC LEs. What are they going to be and when can we expect them?
 
Nothing about RAT LE's on the RC site just posted on the Ad.....See the ploy of having women sale knives or promote them...I never saw or read the Ad..I looked at the Women/Knife /Shirt... in no particular order and never read a thing......
 
Visual learner..... Look at the pretty picture do I want one ... YES LOL ,I was wondering where her other hand was...is she going to kill or thrill me ! just my observation !
 
Theres something wrong with anyone who thinks hot wimmin and knives dont go together..LOL.. Cool ad mi amigo!

These are some seriously asinine statements (Irealize not made by you). It's like the flak that Dillon Precision gets over the hot women in their Blue Press catalogs "Oh that's not what the product is all about!"

Put that ad up next to the exact same ad with some ugly guy (like one of us forum mutts), and see which gets the better response.

I mean hell, seeing a pic of a half naked girl lost in the jungle with a little Izula (is that two Izulas or does she have an RC-3 in hand?), wearing nothing but a ripped t-shirt and some bungee cord, makes ME want to buy an RC-5 and make a Cpl Punishment and the Kingdom of the Lost Half-Naked Women movie! :D

Not trying to be an idiot, but what do you think LE stands for? In our terms it means Law Enforcement.
 
Oh, and as a side note, one thing you will NEVER have to worry about is RAT Cutlery getting politically correct. It's all downhill from here. ;)
