Just finished reading Joezilla's work in TK! Good job bro. In case ya missed it, Joe did a killer review of the New CRK Proffesional Soldier . Very cool article on a knife that may get me to try neck knives again. Glad to see ya in there. BTW How come you didn't review the Rambo Knife? :D

Yeah hes the reason I want one of those and its on my wish list for 09 now. Awesome knife!!!

Had to bring this back up, just had a bit more time to read and saw he also did the killer survival style review of the new Spyderco Salt fixed blades. Great work Bro. Hope to see more articles from ya.

I'll have to check it out. The only thing I dont get about CRK...why do they only get the knives to 55-57 RC? I mean... surely there is a reason.

Wow, thanks guys, I really appreciate it!!! Writing for them is a blast and pretty motivating to push one to get out more. Not sure about that 55-57 rockwell, except that in s30V it would be much easier to sharpen, and it was! That knife was superbly crafted.

That plain edge spyderco was a dream to work with, I can post some of the pictures TK didn't use up in a bit!

Thanks again guys, don't forget to check out Terrill and tim's articles in there too!

Joe,

Because I didn't read the article - I think you should send me the test blades! ;)

I used to write for a paintball magazine years back - it was a blast!

Right. But, S30V (in my experience, which is limited to Spyderco) treated harder, still isnt that difficult to sharpen. I mean, you're paying for a premium steel that isnt doing all it is capable of, IMO. And, it's not just their S30V. They treat their A2 the same way. 55-57 RC. I'm just curious about the exact reason. Ease of sharpening just doesnt justify it, for me.

It can take FOREVER in the field to sharpen. Charlie May has s30V at 59 that can take forever to re-sharpen. I'm not going to get too technical, if it cuts and I can re-sharpen it easily, I'm pretty happy about it. (Can't forget that I'm a machete nut though :) )
