Just wanted to take a moment to make moderators and others aware of something I ran into being new to the forums. I am relatively new to this knife addiction but being originally from the South I have owned a pocket knife sense the age of about 6
So as I look for a way to fuel my addiction of buying, trading and drooling over awesome blades I stumble onto above forums. I read what I can for a few weeks and decide I would like to trade one of my Benchmade blades. I try to post and cant? whats this?? I have to pay to be able to be active in this forum trading etc. Hmm.. not sure about this but heck with it I will throw away a little money and probably get taken by someone for a knife and or money. So I take my pictures and post up for trade (after throwing money at the boards of course) I get a reply from a guy named Ulf Krogstad ? damn I know I'm in trouble now what could that name even mean? at the same time I see a little blade I am interested in and reply to another person Gary W. Graley well at least his name I can understand
and lastly one more group of knives I find interest in buying so I PM yet another seller masters2010. I tell this long story to bring one thing to light. These three people were amazing to deal with! very helpful and worked with the fact I don't use Paypal (the money devil) Ulf Krogstad went beyond and explained how everything works to help me build good feedback and what I need to do as a new arrival here to basically prove myself. I cant tell you how great this all was! All of these guys shared great information with me and If you come in new I hope you are lucky enough to deal with guys this helpful. To the moderators from a new guy.. the forums are excellent and there is some great people here I will defiantly do more trading, selling, and buying here as well as using the forums as a tool to increase my knowledge in the knife world! And to the guys mentioned above THANK YOU! you guys made my first experiences here great!
