New to Buck 110

Thank you, the duck comes from a stay years ago at Super 8 motels, IIRC.

The darker turtles are ones I made with a raku clay that had mica in it. Raku is low fired, I fired these in a regular wood bonfire. Sometimes the raku clay will withstand the temperature changes, sometimes not. I lost others in the firing. The light colored one is carved quartz that I picked up in a flea market.

I like turtles:)

Nice! That mica makes your turtles look like you put a glaze on them. (I'm fairly ignorant about things like this, so you may actually have glazed them and mica has nothing to do with it. Either way, I like the sparkle.) And that opened 110 between the bolos looks gorgeous!

Welcome... the buck 110 is an amazing knife I've only got one so far it was the first knife I bought when I was 18 in the last 13 years it's been on numerous trips to the woods moved across country and survived a house fire in which the nylon sheath was melted to it but it cleaned up amazing and still holds an edge better than any other knife I own I'm convinced that buck knives would survive an atomic blast
