Good afternoon Gang, and I beleive this is my first post here. I attempted one the other week that returned some sort of error email (maybe it meant my post was unacceptable).

This will be a ramble-type post, as I dont often have time for this type stuff...

I have now a plethora of coated/satin Busse's from: Meaner Streets, Boss Jack, LCABS, MOJO Variant (probably my favorite as i think it could do anything the "so-called" outdoors knives could do), NMSFNO (Satin and Coated), SFNO-custom, NMFSH-custom with Swedge, ASHBM-camo, FSH-red/black g10, INFImandu, some custom job INFImandu with bone, BOSS HG55 with CBT (crazy knife), BWMLE, BWM, TG, TGLB, Swamp Rat Custom chop/ratweiler, i think there are more....waiting on a bronze CGFBM, and a Greem CBT Hell Razor...

I am going insane on these knives, BTW...will be looking to liquidate some as my users become apparent...

I have "hard used" the ASHBM-camo, Satin NMSFNO, BWMLE, cut up meat with all those too and the infimandu G-10 used for skinning. As for choppers, ASHBM is a butter knife on trees, BWMLE, still a great knife, not as much bite (obviously), NMSFNO can chop, just it is a different conversation that the ASHBM. Custom NMSFNO did have some slight chipping/rolling post use near tip. We tried some ceramic rods in situ, yet the "scallops in the blade" remain. I know I can mechanically get to a better spot, just an addition to the to-do list and a trip to my uncle's shop in baton rouge about an hour away where he has belts. I am used to sharperning everything by hand, before I got all these huge knives with differeing blade geometry etc...

I have rolls/chips on my NMSFNO from battoning near the rounded/tip area, and I have some sort of rolling in same curved/blade area on the Anniversary MOJO after attacking some cabbage and bell pepper in ther kitchen - I can see the MOJO roll, just need to thoughtfully get it out...

Good thing, on all the thick knives, there is so much to work with you can make them your own blade-wise. and the smaller ones, hand sharpening should still be a good option to get it how you want it.

I am happy so far, just mu openeing salvo...

Sorry no pics, working right now, too...

Well...that was a subtle start...welcome to the madness, this place will not help your addiction or your wallet.

Nice first post, welcome both to here and to the sport of trading time credits for INFI, it is quite an addictive precious metal! :D

Yes the addiction will grow! There are other nice knives out there, but none of them feel, look, and perform like a Busse! You will love the CGFBM with the Corrugated Bevel Technology-CONGRATS and Welcome

Welcome and at the rate you started telling you to hold on for the ride is useless. You done falled off already.

Welcome. How did you pick up all those Busse blades without posting on the exchange? Where else can you buy that many Busse in that short of time? Just curious whats the trick to acquiring a nice collection like yours. Lol

Tim was right; think of Bussekin blades as precious metals!:D And Welcome to the forum!

Welcome to the nuttiness!

You sound like you've been bitten by the bug. Bad.

Share pics when you can, we love seeing pics!

I cant upload pix for some reason, probably better that way for now. I've got my HK MK23 with supressor, my black plastic .306 with a Burris and my Henry 30-30 all in the ready position...

I sleep with a pistol and that Anniversy MOJO close each night...

Love my Busse - love my HK, too

"plethora" of INFI = a nice start ;)

welcome!....:D

lots of good guys ( HOGS & piglets ) here...

Haven't chipped out any INFI yet, but I have chipped s30v folders...

But when I have, I like using a DMT duofold coarse diamond sharpener ...I use it like a file with my blade clamped to my workbench & a good lamp shining on the edge at an angle...careful! watch the point

I have a large Harbor Fright screwdriver with a round shaft that is my go-to "steel" to realign edge rolls...it is just mild enough (read: cheap) steel to do a good job...

Harbor Fright 1 x 30 belt sander w/ leather strop & white compound, if I want to go convex mirror edge...

However, I prefer a "toothy" V-edge on my Scrapper 5 & SYKCO 411 users...applied with DMT fine diamond sharpener...

Enjoy your stay here!

Welcome to the forum, sounds like an awesome start!! Without a paid membership you'll need to use a 3rd party hosting site for pics. I use tinypic b/c it's easy and free, but there are lots of options out there.

I like seeing how much varitation there is in people's collections. I jumped in back in October and have a dozen blades purchased or on order. Trying to get a lot of bang for my buck, so SR-101 and all of these Battle Grade offerings have me hooked:

Rodent Trail
Rodent Solution
Ratmandu LE
Ratmandu CG
1311
1111
B8 LE
(on order)
Jackmandu
BG Boss Jack
BG Hell Razor
Double Talon BM
BOOM Parang
