It is bronze, which I don't care so much about (although looks really cool). I think the knife might be the perfect knife - all the machining/grinding/angles are just masterful - the scallops, the swedge, all the detail. I think you could have that knife and a 4-6 incher and be all good. It is "light feeling" which makes it so special. Easily could carry that weight with a smaller faster blade, and be set for bushcraft/camp-making or defense. I used to think my BWMLE was the perfect knife for heft/balance/useability in the kitchen until I got this one. I just easily shaved a big clump of arm hair off too (accidentally shaved too much it's so sharp...)
The CBT Razor is a good "light knife" to pack as well...
funny calling a Hell Razor a "light knife" whn i used to think an ESEE 5 was huge - still love my ESEE knives, BTW - this Busse world is just different altogether.
