New to Busse - Introduction

Welcome Guyon and thank you for your candor. I just have two words for you, words I share with all prospective infi addicts: Cold Steel. Check em out before you spend all your gelt on Busse.

Beware, new guy!! You'll soon be having mystic knife rituals out by that great copper fire bowl...and drinking Kool-Aid that tastes suspiciously of scotch!!! :D ROTFLMAO!!!

Welcome Guyon... The CG SFNO is a great knife, but what you should really be seeking is the Scrap Yard Dumpster Mutt. I happen to possess the illusive Dumpster Mutt, and as a proper welcome, would be willing to trade for the CG SFNO should you acquire one. In order to aid you in your acquisition, I will not ask for any money from you. We will just make it an even trade, as I am a very giving person. ;):D

Guyon,

Please forgive the responses of some of the Hogs here. Many are are old and crusty, and don't like new piglets getting in on their action. Please stick around and join our conversations, as you seem to have a great knowledge of knifes.

This knive you speak of, the SFNO CG, is a prized and highly sought after blade. Unfortunately, their no longer available new or on the secondary market (just one of those things :().

You are, however, in luck. This is not the "For Sale" area of these forums, so I hope you don't incur any infractions for this, but I happen to have two of the just-released, NEW EDITION, never seen before SFNO CGs that Jerry is putting on the market as we speak. If you are willing to pay the shipping and handling charge ($74.85, mostly handling), and are also willing to keep quiet about where you got it (those old Hogs scare me:o), I could be persuaded to part with one of these gems for your above stated price of close to $300 (the closer, the better ). Please see pic below.

Uhh...YEAH, that's what it is!

But it's Respirene "D", not that old "C" stuff. Much better.

This is kind of a trial run for Jerry, putting this amazing material on a SFNO. He's already said in many threads around here that he'll probably go with Balsa wood on the regular production models, so these will be rare and valuable. Probably will double in value in a couple of months.

So whaddya think?

You guys are all losers on this one. I have the Super Duper Custom Grade SFNO. Of course it cost much more than your inferior models.

And my photo is almost as good as that Lunde characters.

:D:D

Guyon: Welcome, but don't drink the Koolade here. Any real knife maven knows that all Busses are just sharpened ingots of pig iron. They are useless for survival because Stephen Dick doesn't cut up chickens and parsley with them, and everyone knows that chickens and parsley are abundant anywhere you might find yourself in a survival situation. You really ought to carry a double bitted axe and a wrecking bar on your person at all times in the outdoors anyway, as knives are not meant for chopping and prying and knives capable of doing so are too big and heavy.

Carry a small pack of safety razor blades. That's really all you will ever neeed.

:D:D:D:D:eek:

Your for just $1,899. ;)

Now THAT is an awesome piece of INFI. I can see how a tool such as that would be invaluable for "real-life" survival issues and Every Day Carry.:thumbup::thumbup:

I really need to get one for each finger!
