I got into knifes just recently actually sold Todd Begg 2 vehicles back 4 years ago and as part of the deal he owed us a free knife.well I just recently tried to track him down to get that knife and come to find out he is this huge knife guy with the most amazing knifes well saw his web page and fell in love with the Bodega. I wanted to wait and see if he would honor his word and send the knife but while I am waiting I bought a benchmade barrage 580-2 and I haven't looked back bought a 484 Nakamura,Domino Bento Box,and of course after seeing all the reviews a Para Military 2.
Ok so now that you all know my back story into knifes some things I am wondering is what is the best road to go to get some of these amazing knifes like Todd Beggs Bodegas,Direware Solo V2, Yunahard 2,etc. because it seems like anywhere I look on the internet everything is sold out that I really like .
Also what is a good name brand case to store my knives? What kind of oil is best and how often should I oil them. None of my knives will be safe queens I want to def take each knife and carry everyone as a EDC.
Thanks for all the Helpful input

Pelican cases like the 1300 for storeage.
I use Rem oil, Ballistal for lube.

It's easy to buy all the knifes you want. I bought 23 in the last month. The for sale forums here and numerous sites on the Internet will be glad to take every penny you have. I picked up another Bodega today. They're out there, you just have to look.

Blade forums is a great place to buy, sell and trade any and all kinds of knives. I love my Maxpedition Dodecapod for carrying up to 12 knives, very portable. I use it for my most frequently used knives. I also use a Zero Halliburton Large Camera Case & Pelican 1450.

Wow if you get Todd to live up to his word, then you scored. He is a very in demand maker. Good luck. As for Storage, Spyderco has a hanging pouch system that works well

That's a cool story, hope he comes through for you. As others have said, the pelican cases are the best. And actually I use the B&W Outdoor cases. Same as pelican at half the price. Good luck

If you go the pelican case route, make sure you get some of those desiccant/silica packs to take the moisture out... Some people have reported moisture being trapped which caused their knives to rust. As far as oiling, I use food grade mineral oil on the blades and militec oil or flourinated grease for the pivots.
