new to emerson.. just got a persian..

I do a bit of pimping here and there..... if you talk to me nicely that is. :p

What you thinking of having done ?
Unfortunately, I'm not at that point yet. But, hopefully, after I get a few goodies some upgrading will definitely be of interest.

Cool, I do a lot of spacers and scales so if thats what you want then I can easily help you out.

There are actually a good few folks here on the forum who do great work.

Good guy that Haze. ^^^
MP-40--- Yup, I always wanted an MP-40 or the STG-44. Can you post a pic here?

I will work on a pic..
The mp40s are pretty common transferables/ tube guns.
All of the mp44s I have ever seen were orig mfr, C&Rs. and not cheap!!
never mind trying to find the ammo to feed it with being very difficult to find..

mp40 fires 9mm yes.

The mp44 fires some sort of short 8mm short (really odd one)..That is what I was talking about..

MP40...

Welcome to the forum AND to "people passionate for Emerson Persians". I dare say that Haze is considered the Prince of Persians. Ask him real nice and he may show you some pics of his custom HD Persian. Oooooooooooooo!
I concur that the Persian's size may make you a bit hesitant to make it your EDC, but, once you experience the surprising utility of that beautiful blade, you'll find it hard to settle for any other one knife.
And, once you spend a few days with that substantial folding scimitar always at your side available for sensual sessions of stroking and fondling and thumbing and wrist-flicking...
Well, you'll see just how difficult it is to NOT EDC.
I usually have my Persian in the right hand pocket of my sweats around the house, and if I wore PJs I'd wear it to bed!
Anyhow, welcome to the addiction.

Cp.. That is an ummm, err.... Interesting take on it...

But definitely would like to see some of the pimped out persians.

It would be nice to see what can be done. I have a nice piece of wood I was thinking about trying my hand at doing some scales myself..

This is my HD-P-Tac :cool::thumbup:

Here is a pic before the regrind and after. This knife is getting a abit of an overhaul just now. I'm just cleaning it up a bit by refiling the jimping and giving it a satin finish. I will probably go for OD green G-10 or carbon fiber for the scale and spacer as well. (When I got it from STR we agreed to keep it rough as I would be doing my own work on it any way).
