Joined up to ask for some advice on getting a Camillus Marlin Spike repaired. This is my daily knife that was issued to me. I was using the marlin spike portion of the knife in the cold weather over the winter and was working on some frozen knots and the pin in the marlin spike portion broke due to too much pressure from me. I was able to retain all the parts. I have no experience in making these type repairs. Can anyone on this forum make any recommendations where this could be repaired correctly? Feel free to PM or respond to this message.

Usually one of the guys who has made some of the knives in the past, will jump in. I'm not one of those guys, sorry. Hopefully someone will jump in soon. They have helped me in the past. Try sending "Camco" a PM. I haven't heard from him lately so I'm hoping everything is alright.

You also might try posting the question in the 'maintenance and Tinkering' section. Most of the folks in this forum are 'mainly' collectors or are posting or wanting info about a Camillus related knife. Some here are 'fixers' but the 'maintenance' world would have way more fix-it folks.

Maintenance would have advice on how you might fix it.
I'm going to move this to where a knifemaker will see it if he's willing to do the repair.
