New to forums - Third Kydex Knife Sheath I've done

P.S. - Do you use thinner Kydex (.060 maybe?) for the add-ons like the firesteel and small knife?

The .060 is certainly easier to work with but I prefer to use .080 or thicker for everything. If you're taking the time to put in the add ons like a firesteel, why skimp at that point?

Also, when adding the smaller sheaths as a piggyback, the .060 will flex too much when you tighten down the fasteners and cause retention issues.

Thanks, that definitely makes sense! The reason I asked is that I'm all about keeping weight to a minimum, but I like the idea of adding a few extra things to my sheaths. I suppose it really wouldn't make much of a weight difference for small objects, especially when considering the performance changes like you pointed out. Thanks again!
