New to HI forum....(20inch Chiruwa Angkhola-my first order)

Somehow I would still consider Sirupate models to be the fastest, one of the most devastating blades (due to simple physics)

I will post a pic of my 18" sirupate. It is fast, but I really like the bashpati more. The Suga is definately my go to CQ blade though.

No problem,I am looking forward to see them cul ! I am planing to also show blade I have ordered from HI and to review all its pro's / con's (hope second part will be short as much as possible:)

You have ordered a "Beast" !! For the money, H.I. is an incredible Value and the craftsmanship is simply wonderful !!!.. I got my first one a last Saturday, A m43 , And it was simply near perfect as far as " Fit and Finish" and weighing in at 34 ounces, Is a devastating. High quality tool that is now part of my "Bug Out Bag".. No need for an Hatchet or tomahawk ! When your mailman drops off the Box and you tear into it, your gonna stare in awe of your Blade!! Be careful and read the safety instructions.. You can rest assured, you will find that 200 bucks Very well spent !!!

welcome to the forum ! and the CAK is pretty much the flagship of the HI operation I think, back in the day everyone bought them because they were the "toughest" and I still think they are pretty much one of the best blades for the money anywhere-- but I do prefer sirupate as a basic style.

rarely do we get what we come looking for with HI though, I came looking for a fancy blade and ended up falling in love with deals of the day and after over a year am just now getting my custom order together , either way you will rarely if ever be disappointed by HI and never be disappointed by the customer service--even in the rare event of mistake or defect you are taken care of immediately .

58a....I have done a lot of research on Nepalese khuks ,,,so far it comes to my conclusion there is really two serious competitors,HI vs KHHI ,,,,other than that,it seem to me there is mostly fast manufacturers who takes shortcuts in heat treatment of blades/fit & finish, often copying projects or importing them right away from India and Pakistan the cheapest contractors making them for tourists & selling them for price of genuine bishwakarmas / Kamis hard work projects. As I don't live in USA,overall cost for me will be aprox.twice as much or more-due to shipping & import taxes but still worth it,(have seen many HI reviews and pretty much kone this is safe bet on quality control of final products......!) thanks many times too for your reply

Gehazi, thanks for comment and your welcome as to many other guys here! Well angkhola vs sirupate is both designed for different purposes with very clear statement of what they are best at......sirupate I can imagine as weapon of choice in real combat situation, while CAK will partly cover this too, with heaviest chopping tasks better.

for some reason I have always felt like the siru is a "jungle" blade and the ang is the "mountain" blade.

OK here we go:

The Bashpati 18", I prefer this over the sirupate by a very small margin:

The Suga, awesome fighter:

Love the trisul for basic CQ knife technique/style:

The 18" Sirupate:

Enjoy

Thank you Pugs75 ,,,I'd say you too fell for addiction on blades,,,,i do completely get you-don't worry,I know how it feels like....:):):)
