New to knife collecting

David, I just noticed you're from the UK. Sorry about that, but you should still be able to find those paint sprayer brushes somewhere over there.

The bristles are nylon and don't scratch. Here's a better scan of them so you can get an idea of what to look for:

I have a series of attachments and an adapter that fit my Shopvac.Really small brushes.There made to clean keyboards and electronics.Work well for me.Arnold
 
Take a look at this link and the top item on the page. I received a sample this morning and for cleaning pocket knives they're fantastic. £30.00 + P & P for 500 from these guys here in the UK, but there's bound to be someone in the US with a similar product.
