I like the pin layout on the first one, although it might look better with two vertically placed at the front to match the two in the back. I'm not a fan of file work, but I can appreciate the effort and skill involved.

On those pins, did you epoxy them in only, or did you peen them as well?

Looks great I think! I saw this knife on Reddit the other day when your brother or friend posted it... You're off to a great start!

First and second knives are looking fantastic. You've definitely got a good eye for details and proportions.

What's kind of background do you bring to knifemaking? I'm better you've got some time in as a machinist or something else that deals in clean finishes and tight tolerances. If you say you're an accountant and never touched a hand-tool before, I'm gonna be real impressed! :D

Very nicely done. Nice clean design and well executed. I'm in the camp of the above makers. Aside from having it in hand to feel everything, I cannot see anything I would change. You're definitely not a noob in the shop, and it shows. Very nice.

Cheers

My dad owns a concrete construction company, I work for him. In the winter we are very slow. I spent the last few months just watching videos and researching on how to do things, just for this knife. I took my time making sure to do things the best I could. I have a strong drive to make knives, I wake up and go to sleep thinking about it.

Good looking knife, even more impressive for a second try. I agree that if you persist, you will go far.
Looking forward to seeing the next ones.

I think it should be stickied at the top of the page so all the other new makers can see it, and think twice about what they're going to show the world.

So should new makers not show the world their knives if they are not as good as this one?

Awsome 2nd knife. Trying new things is refreshing

That's your second knife ever made? I must be doing something wrong!!! Holy cow, dude, great looking blade!!!!

Pretty sure I'm not liking ya no more! Absolutely great work. I too want to see 10-200.
