New to knife

Hi all. New guy here, but I have been lurking, looking, and learning from this site for awhile. I'm currently working on my first knife using real steel. I did make a couple practice blades from junk steel and it got me hooked. I also built a small forge and started banging out steel on an anvil. The metalworking arts have also fascinated me and seeing what some of the very talented people on here create is awe inspiring.

As soon as I figure out how to post some pics I'll put up my WIP. It's O1 tool steel forged from 1/2 inch round stock. It has a 3 inch blade and is about 7 1/2 inches overall. I've just about got it ready for heat treat.

Well I guess I'm kinda wordy, but thanks to all the talented folks who share their knowledge here. Believe me there are lots of people who aren't forum members who benefit from all the great posts here.
