I made a couple knives in november, from old files with walnut and tiger wood handles. I used a two brick forge which I didnt end up liking. I built a a HT oven next, followed by a 2x72 belt grinder. I have since completed two more knives from 1084 steel and bloodwood handles.
Here is the album http://imgur.com/a/S5MkE
the knives are in the order that I completed them, with a couple photos of the first two before I beat them up a bit.
The oven and grinder work well, I used a compressor motor for the grinder which is 3450 rpm. It says 15A rating but thats peak and at full speed, so it is easy to bog down or stop completely. I have bought a 2hp 1725 rpm motor with more torque to replace it. I only have single phase AC where I live so I used pulleys to give myself some speed options.

The pics arent that recent I am fiddling with the grinder some more, tightening up the belts and reworking the spring for tension arm.
Any questions or input is welcome, thanks.

Pretty impressive I think.
