I think only a mod can do that,, just copy and paste your original post over there... I have a feeling though that custom jobs are a lot of money,, and a lot of time..could be wrong though.any chance we can clone this thread to that section as well ?
I think you've gotten some very nice options but one thing I don't know if you've considered is the type of knife your father may want to actually use and carry, or put up cause "it's too nice" to use. When my father was still alive, he was in his 70's, and speaking for myself only, he'd of never carried a Sebenza. He carried traditional slippies his entire life and the larger, pocket clipped knives baffled him. He could never envision needing something like a Sebenza. Whenever he saw one of mine he'd just shake his head. Lol.
So that's all I wanted to mention if you were wanting something for him to carry, or as a keepsake, is maybe try and sound him out to see what he would favor.
Or you may have already...., very nice gesture though on your part and I'm sure he will be pleased.
Very good points! The only reason I immediately thought of a Sebenza though, was that the OP mentioned one hand opening. " I want something that can be opened and closed with 1 hand and easily."I think you've gotten some very nice options but one thing I don't know if you've considered is the type of knife your father may want to actually use and carry, or put up cause "it's too nice" to use.
