When I go out to yard sales I guess I can never pass up a knife, hatchet or axe as long as it's cheap and not totally rusted.

What can you tell me about these two I got over the weekend?

The Norlund appears unused and the Kelly is stamped with a VA city

Thanks

Kelly also says true temper, big tool company.

Norlunds were sold more to sporting goods stores than hardware stores and are found more on the coasts than in mid america. as mentioned that is a collector quality Norlund hatchet, the sticker looks mint. saw one about like that on e*bey go for for over $60. if you want a nice beater norlund ===I'lltrade ya. they don't make these anymore.

terrific finds.

Thanks for the info guys.

At this time I am not interested in trading or selling, but I am sure they will go up for auction sometime in the future.....as soon as I get the bug for a new gun or some other toy......

I have two of those norlund hatchets, each one cost me about $60 and I would definitely say they are worth that and more.
