The last few weeks have been a challenge, both in school and at work..So I have not spent as much time as I would like to doing the things I like to do..But..the fruit of my efforts so far.

My employer is downsizing a bit and needed to unload some equipment which I was obligated to take advantage of :)

I hope I get time to play with this stuff soon. I need to clean up the mill and do some repairs on it before it gets into some action. College and the full time job are dominating my time lately.

BTW- I hate you guys with your nice surface grinders.... ;)

I am ashamed of how much I paid for this stuff... :)

The Mill, Bench (green) Hardness tester, microscope were less than $4200.00 combined.

Great buy. Even a cheap POS lathe is better than no lathe. But why a microscope?

I think for two reasons...First...I got it for $75.00..Second..Checking edges..Recently, for pulling splinters :)

Thanks guys!

That looks like some great stuff for 4200.00. They had an auction here recently and two surface grinders went for 100 bucks each one was a manual and one fully automatic. The auctioneer had to beg the buyer to take them both, he only wanted one. Sometimes it's being in the right place at the right time, and having the cash available.
