Ha guys, knew to knife making and knew to the site, not sure if this is the right place to ask this question. I picked up a new Grizzly 2x72 belt grinder and the belt seams to wonder a lot when I put pressure to one side of the belt or the other when grinding a bevel, making it hard to use the edge of the back stop behind the belt. Any ideas how I can fix this problem, belt to tight, to lose, etc.

Thanks, Carl

I used to have a grizzly, and had the same problems. Here was my solution. It worked well for me, and only took a few hours to complete.

Shane, that is a very nice upgrade. Put great wheels and one of Nathan's platens on there and you'd be in Cadillac mode. :)
