I recently got my first Spyderco in a trade and that's all it took. The first one was a blue Tenacious and the fit and finish on this knife was unexpected. Top notch for a $40 knife. Since then I've got my self a black and a blue Ambitious, a black Persistence and now I just need a blue one. I wish someone would have told me How addictive these were. Lol. Here's a pic of my growing Spyderco collection.

The blue tenacious was my first as well. I since have gotten a cricket and a Para 2 and my "to get" list would make a websters dictionary look skimpy now. :D
I was amazed by the quality of the tenacious as well. For the price you can't beat a knife like that.
Once you get addicted you can't stop, and spyderco just keeps feeding you every year with awesome stuff. The only thing holding me back is an empty bank account and difficulty with finding employment.

The collection does grow, sometimes rapidly out of control is seems  My first Spyderco was a Tenacious. If you can get your hands on a Paramilitary 2 (and it's within your budget), do not hesitate to grab one! I went through about 30 Spyderco models this past year (buy-sell-buy-sell) and finally settled on the Southard and the Chokwe. Welcome to the addiction!

The empty wallet definitely hurts. Lol. Hopefully I'll be able to trade away some of my Kershaws for more Spyderco knives. Nothing against Kershaw but the Spyderco for the money blows them away. Now hopefully I can get my post count so I can join the Spydernation.

+1 on Paramilitary 2
my lineage is:
Delica ce 1st gen
Tenacious
Para 2
Then a Sage 2 but unfortunately something didn't resonate well with the Sage 2 :|
But I can tell you the Para 2 is excellent

The para 2 is definitely on my list. I have a ZT 0550 on the way that I got in a trade, hopefully I'll be able to trade it away for something nice if I don't like it. There's so many Spyderco knives I want it makes my wallet hurt.

Nice Eastwood!
Yeah once you get bit by the Spyder bug, you're done for :)
The only thing I can think of that is of similar value as theTenacious/Ambitious/Persistence blades at that price range would be a Kershaw Skyline. Might wanna check one of those out if you haven't already

I just ordered my very first Spydie: Caly 3 with CF and damascus blade (sprint run). I have this thing for Carbon Fiber and damascus, and this Caly 3 satisfies both my fetishes :)

Next up: Ladybug, for my keychain.

The Caly 3 is definitely on my list as well as the Delica. Top of my list right now is the Rock Lobster.

They do definitely multiply. I have made a deal and traded forum more today. One blue Tenacious and a black Tenacious that's been acid washed. Now I have to find some good info on the acid wash process. I may try it on some other cheap knives I have. Anyone have a link to a DIY for me?

While you wait to get your post count up spyderco has there own forum. Just like here alot of help and good conversation. Mixed with a few jack a$$es.... Enjoy!! I have had alot of knifes in the pocket and seem to find my pm2 there the most.

I just watched the video and I think I'll be heading to RadioShack tomorrow for the acid. I've stonewashed before and had really good results on the 1st try. I'll post a pic later ( although it is a Kershaw, Lol).

Blade-play, I've been lurking on the Spyderco forum but haven't signed up yet. I'll do it tomorrow.

Thanks for all the info guys!
