Welcome and congrats on the 16 before you buy a kydex sheath it's a good idea to figure out what scales your going to use. Tkc and any liners being added would be the only real difference requiring you to give a heads up to who ever you choose to make it. If you like kydex 710 and Azwelke do a Great Job.

I went the way of the TKC G10 Scales.

I have not gone to Kydex on the sheath yet, but as others have said there a some good choices out there.

While a great sentiment, you don't have to upgrade to post pictures, all you need is an account with a 3rd-party image-hosting website like Imgur and you can post all the pictures you desire, paid membership or no.

As for the knives, with your 16 and a 9, you would not only be unstoppable but every other fixed blade would be basically useless to you because they'd never be able to beat the ones you would already have.

Welcome to our corner of the asylum! For the record, the TKC handle scales are significantly different in shape and would require a different sheath in kydex from the stock handles or the KaBar micarta handles.

Thanks for the 411 on posting pics. I need to figure that one out then. Pretty stoked that my micarta scales and sheath should be here in a few days. I have just been carrying the 16 in my bag cause I like it so much. Ready to put it on my hip daily
