New to the Forum. Advice Please

I don't think they produce them, they partner with other companies. Like that knife referenced was made by Fox in Italy

I believe the original Wilson Tactical line (fixed-blades) were made by a member of the Wilson family (I can't remember his first name), but I believe you are correct about the Wilson Combat line being outsourced.

I didn't mean to imply that they make the knives themselves. They pay to have them made. Poor wording on my part.

I can attest to the high quality of the original Wilson Tactical line as I own one, but I have no experience with the "Wilson Combat line.

Spyderco IMO has the best of steels and blade styles( stretch ZDP189) # 2 would be a Benchmade griptillane or 940
a moraknif serrated is cheap in price but awesome in capable use

How do I send a private message to someone on the forum? I am trying to do so - Kencler regarding the TCR knives
You must have a paid membership to private message. Basic is $10 yr. :)

You won’t be impressed with Elmax nor M390 cleaning hogs.
Look at the Outdoor Edge razor knife with replaceable blades. Thinner is better when you’re skinning and a dull thin bladed knife will still cut better than a thicker blade.
Listen to this man Ajack60, very sage advice - you may want to take heed to.

A fully serrated blade makes short work of our muddy sandy hogs on the ranch, and stay working sharp 4x longer then a plain edge
search the website for steel you are interested in and explore blade geometry and length
