Soooo, after reading the FAQ's I realized I did 2 things I probably should not have. I did not introduce myself, and I asked a question I probably could have figured out. Apologies.
Hi, my name is Nikki, I just got my first BK2 last week, and I'm obsessed. Healthy I'm sure. I stripped the coating, put on micarta handle scales and polished the spine. Jimping to come, but here are a couple of photos.

Thanks everyone! I did a little batoning last night, shaved a little wood for a tiny fire....I live in a very urban setting...can't wait to take this out in the woods!

When you do make it out to the woods for more testing be sure to post pics!

welcome to the addiction Nikki! great group of folks here and Becker makes some awesome blades!

now, isnt it time for you to pick up an EDC type Becker blade----maybe a bk11, bk14, or the new bk24? :D

HA! Stop reading my mind! I'm already looking at the BK11. I might attempt to make my own handle scales for that one.

Welcome to our little corner of the asylum! BK2 is definitely a beast of a knife, and it loves to be nekkid. Stick around you will have a large collection of Beckers as well. Now drink this koolaid...
