Poor woman's scout carry.
So this idea literally hit me as I was falling asleep, so I woke up to do it. I am by NO MEANS a leatherworker....and I'm sure someone else has had this idea....but until I can purchase a fancy sheath, this will do. Also, it is hard to take a picture of your own butt. And yes, I need to flip the screws around...and need a better belt....buuuuuuut, this will do for now.

If it works, it works, and you can't ask for more than that. Like you said you would want to turn those screws around so as to spread out the pressure on that chunk of leather and not tear through those holes. Not sure if you are also into guns, but the Blackhawk! Serpa holsters come with a belt attachment and a paddle attachment, and if you have one of those belt attachments those work pretty well for that purpose (from what I have seen), or perhaps a TekLok. Ha! I grew up with guns, don't have a problem with them at all. I am just researching something practical, and something I can lock up, but easily access. I live with someone who should not have super easy access to guns...which is a lot less dramatic than it sounds. And this is by no means my first knife purchase. I would like a 9mm. Grew up shooting a .45 colt.

Welcome. BK2 is a good start. It only gets worse.
In a couple weeks the BK10 should be out. I'm super excited for that one.
Yes, it will get worse. I started with a 2 in Dec, now have everything below, plus Beckerhead status and an invite to BeckerWest.
And you said you were considering an 11........yes it will get even worse than that. LOL
