Good Evening Ladies and Gentleman,

Hi, I am josh. I have been soaking up information on this site for some time. Here is my little collection. Nothing super fancy, but they are mine. And they get bloody. and dirty. and used. That's why i love these knives. They are Buck119, Buck105, Buck103, Buck102, Buck135, Buck141, Buck499, and Buck692 In the background are my two favorite shooters. Winchester Model 70 chambered in 30-06. And a fun little plinker, Sig Sauer Mosquito in .22LR. Thanks for looking, and thanks for the great community here! Can't wait to get to know some of you!

Hey thanks! I think i got the bug bad. I have it bad right now for a nice folder. Either a Spyderco or Benchmade. That's the next investment i think.

You're welcome! Spend some more time here, and read up as much as you can. The cool thing is that both Spyderco and Benchmade have their own subforums. Hit those up and I'm sure you will make a good choice when the time comes

Thanks Rip gut. And yes. I found those. I can't wait to read as much as possible. the only hard part for me is i can't find any where around here that sells them. I would really like to know how each one feels in my hand. I guess i will have to wait a few more months unit i can get on the pass around circuit. Unit then i read!

Sweet Mosquito you got there. SIG makes some great firearms. And welcome. Just be prepared to be perpetually broke. We're the worst bunch of addiction enablers you'll ever meet. :D

I got sucked into a supermoto forum that got me for $5700. That will be hard to beat. But not saying it can't be done! Thanks for the compliment on the Sig. It is a blast to shoot. But boy, it will only shoot the CCI MINI-MAG shells. anything else and it jams.

I got a Mosquito, too. But ended up getting the caliber exchange kit for my 9mm 226. I can shoot those 22's a whole lot better through the 226 than I can through my Mosquito. I'm actually embarrassed to shoot it with anybody watching; that's not the case with the 226, though.

I try to stick to trading now, or buying knives only with money from others I sell. I say TRY. I guess even a couple of days at a time with a modicum of self-discipline is an improvement. 5700? I only wish....

Hey josh welcome! Mind if I ask how old you are? Reason being it seems like your younger by how you talk and your pic's on an Internet forum you just joined worked first time lol. I don't see many young guys shootin 30-06 anymore and a Winchester model 70... Classic. You sir have superb taste.

Which spyderco or bench made are you looking at? your collection is of larger knives, just curious if your going to follow that trend!

And welcome! I'm new here too. The forum has been good to me thus far :)
I hope you experience the same!

I am 24 years old with a mechanical engineering degree. I Like to have quality things in my life. And i know nothing in the pictures i posted are "Top Shelf" but i feel they are far from junk. I love the 70. it is dead on to 300 yards shooting 150gr hornady bullets. And if i can't afford something worth while, then i will wait until i can. Thanks for all the comments folks!

Those are the two right now. Possibly. It seems to change a lot. haha. But i would like to hold off until i can get a few in my paws and see how they feel. I am looking for a nice quality EDC that will fit in my pocket. looking at the griptilian as well as the mini-grip. not sure yet :)

Beware that even 'just' Buck knives can become addictive (See the Buck sub-forum.). For example, one day I saw a rosewood & brass version of the 119... eventually, that resulted in this:

Yeah, they are too pretty to use, which necessitated my buying the phenolic & aluminum variants, too - great users!

And... I fixed my jam-o-matic feed problems - I switched to revolvers!

WELCOME ABOARD!

Welcome Josh! You said you looking for a folder - 2014 is the 50th Anniversary of the Buck 110! There will be 3 or 4 versions released to commemorate. If too large look at the 55.
