I second all the comments made so far, and I also suggest that you start carrying a slipjoint along with your Spyderco.
Many people around here do that, and carry a traditional slipjoint and a modern folder. But, if you really want to give it a try, and your mind is open to the chance that, maybe, you could get by just with a slipjoint, remember to put your hand inside the right pocket first and grab your slipjoint. Give it a try. And give it some time. Then, time will tell what works best for you. And, of course, you will come around this subforum more often and talk about traditionals...we all know how the path goes. :D

The Case Trapperlock with clip is what got me started back into Traditionals. I was a Case collector years ago, got into watches big time and just carried my SAK's. I stumbled upon the Trapperlock somewhere and bought it. That was my reintroduction, as my research kept carrying me back to this forum. That knife was also my introduction to chrome vanadium/carbon steel blades after buying "Supersteel" Spyderco's and Benchmade's.

While I fully embrace traditional knives as they're the ones I've carried since I was 8 years old, I still have a desire to carry knives with pocket clips/one handed opening. So along with the Trapperlock, I would suggest looking for the Case Mid-folding Hunter with thumbstud and clip, and I see they have a Russlock with clip scheduled for shipping later this summer.

But be careful, traditionals are addictive. So many useful patterns and handle materials, it's great to have a different blade for a different job in one handle that isn't just black

As others have said the pocket clip and one handed opening is a little different in the true traditional. I have just started using a case Peanut CV yellow handle as my first true traditional. I think it might be the best way to start with the traditional because it is pretty much as small as you can go. If you can do everything with a peanut you realize you don't need anything else. When you can do a job with such a small blade as opposed to your usual models it really is a great feeling. I can relate to where your coming from. I've just started getting into these old knives after having always used the new "tactical" knives. I would give the peanut a try, Its in your price range and gives you a true "traditional" experience.

As stated a few times here...take a look at the CASE XX 1 Blade Trapperlock With Pocket Clip. Seems to be just what you're looking for.
