New Tomahawk Design

me too- love the pics-thanks for posting. I bought a bearded thrower last year from a Smith in CO. All the best in 2014 and may you have many a good find.
 
I'm just learning about some of this stuff, so bear with me.
Is that a forged hawk? I'm asking because the finish looks so smooth like it was sanded down and almost polished. I thought that forged steel would have more marks in the surface.
It almost looks too pretty to have been hammered! I want one!
 
Six years later, still the best tomahawks I’ve owned. Uncle and cousins still using theirs on the farm, regularly. I ended up with a few more tools from them. Brian & Tina Otto, Walk By Faith 777. Look them up, you’ll be glad you did.
 
Nice lines. Good length on the hammer, hate it when its too short. The difference in color for the differential hardened part is my weakness :)
