For the longest time, I preferred my Vic SAK to any multi tool made. On a whim, I bought the Wave when it came on sale at the local CTC. ($30 off). I played with the Wave for part of the day, wasn't impressed, so I took it back. I much preferred the Vic Ranger.

Some time later, I bought a Vic Spirit and haven't carried a SAK since. They are fantastic tools. I use it at work every day. The only other multi tool I would consider at this time is the Vic Swiss Tool X, but it is a bit weighty.

Some people criticize the combi blade, but I carry a couple of knives anyway, so the combi blade is probably the best choice.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

And the Chisel is the bomb! Vic Spirit is a high quality multitool that'll outlast and outperform many others on the market IME. Strong locking tools that you do not have to be afraid to use hard, for fear that they'll close on you. Very ergonomic in as much as a multitool can be. Lots of great tools in a compact package, beats lugging a full toolbox along most times, especially in a vehicle!

Full size Swisstool X for me. Has a pair of scissors instead of the second serrated blade. Excellent build quality and a damn good bit of kit in my opinion.

The Spirit is my favorite of all the Multi's I own. I use mine daily, and have a second one in my BOB/GHB/Grab and go bag (which ever you prefer to call it). I am huge fan of SAKs in general, so it makes sense I would prefer their MTs. I like the weight and size better then my LM or SOG for sure, and to some extent it is more comfortable to use then anything on the market I have found.

You made a great choice in tools, and you will get years out of it.
