You folks may very well get tired of my new found enthusiasm, but I am once again floored by my latest arrivals. The large toothpick is my favorite pattern right now, and to find some that are unique is very difficult and also expensive. I took a chance on these two and feel I didn't pay too much. As usual the pics you see when buying don't do them justice.

These are Fightin Bull/Roberson knives - still doing some research for what the Roberson name means. From what I understand, these knives were hand assembled by Windall Carlson who commonly uses exotic scale materials and adds some nice file work to the back springs. When I opened these up this afternoon I was just floored. Perfect new condition with boxes and COA's - I like them more than I thought I would.

Pics - did a some quick shots with my excitement - will have to set up my soft box etc. in the near future to take some pics worthy of these knives. Images are clickable for a larger version.

First one is Giraffe Bone:

Next one is Afzelia Burl:

Oh my! Those are absolutely stunning:thumbup::thumbup:
I for one won't get tired of looking at beauties like those two :)

Scrumptious Diddly Umptuous:D:thumbup:

Keep right on with the enthusiasm...its contagious.

Let me see if I can help out a little....Wendall Carson use to do a lot of service works for a knife manufacture and in doing so purchase parts from Queen Cutlery/Schatt&Morgan for repair and later developed his own line of knives Fightin Bull Brand using these parts to build knives......the Parent Company of Queen Cutlery also owned Roberson Cutlery starting from around 1979 and still due I believe simply licensing out the rights........the toothpick could of either been an embellishment on his part or built using parts...

Thanks Jim - great info! One of the things I love about the traditionals is learning their history. I am guessing that I have the hand written COA's from Carson is a plus then.

Toothpickalicious!
Never was the relationship between toothpick and laguiole more obvious.

Very, VERY nice. Toothpicks always bring back memories. The first folder that I bought for myself (many years ago) was an Imperial Toothpick with yellow scales. I still have it around here someplace.

Tired of them? Not a chance. And that Afzelia Burl is absolutely gorgeous.

My only toothpick is a jigged cherry Beaver Tail (nothing like these beauties!) but I can sure see where your enthusiasm comes from. The design, the feel and the the beauty of the exotic materials, what is not to be enthusiastic about? :)

Enjoy 'em and thanks for sharing the pics.
