New toys for the woods!

Two real beauties, all right, and thanks for the review, too!

You know, when I saw my first "bushcraft" style knife like that Adventure Sworn model, I didn't really care for it from an aesthetic point of view. After seeing this knife and a couple other customs done my forum members, I've revised my opinion on the style to the point where I'm waiting for one myself, now. :D

I think that is my all time favorite Koyote I've ever seen.

The second knife: That dude has the handle contouring down perfect:thumbup:

That's a hella beautiful sheath too!:D

Nice review, some awesome looking blades, there. Thanks for doing the review.

Tony,

I have a Koyote knife like that one the way (as soon as he gets off his dead butt and makes it for me! ;) )

and - I JUST ordered the other one based on our chat on line. Psyched to get them both.

oh, the *knife* is made..... well, almost. I have to glue up the scales. :D

Tony- wow, amazing photos, and great testing. Can I pop some of these onto the 'customer photos' section of the site?

Nice review, Tony! And as Koyote said, amazing photos.

That was my first in Lignum, and my first with triple liners. A very fun project indeed. I'm glad you're happy with the new tools!

What a pair of beauties!

I'm particularly loving the second knife very much!

Lordy those are some winners, amigo! I'm green over here. Love the Koyote, but am especially attracted (and was also attracted when I saw the original sale) to that Adventure Sworn blade! He will really fill a niche if he keeps it up. Gorgeous blade and great curves, too.

That axe rounds out a stellar set of tools!

You're as bad as me this year with new toys, haha.

Tony,

Those blades look awesome:thumbup: Hell, I might trade the T-shirt for those:D. I need some more Koyote blades for sure. That AS blade looks great too!

I wasn't sugar coating these knives, you're gonna agree.

I do wonder if they will make the Talfuchre keeper drawer. You are the pickiest SOB I know...

AGREED!

In my keeper drawer now:

1) Garland Bushcrafter
2) ML Woods and Bush
3) Koster Buscraft - Cocobolo CPM 154
4) BRKT Kephart
5) Laconico Unscandi with my mods.
6) BRKT Hiking and Camping forum knife.

That is about it.

Haha, I brought up your name the first time I ever saw that Koyote, over in his forum. Very 'up your alley'.

Thanks for the review... very informative. Two nice blades there!

my koyote is surgical sharp-edge has been going strong for 4 months, haven't touched it with a sharpener. you don't have to apply pressure for it to slice through skin like it was air. Ask me how I know that... I'm jealous, I love my koyote but that 1080 beauty is just perfect.

man, my "i wanna trade with that maker" list is getting long...

Those look fantastic! I don't know which one I like more, but I know I'd be honored to own either of them.

What model axe does that happen to be? Looks a little larger than the SFA.

Man im lovin both of these blades. I just put in an order with Adventure Sworn. First knife purchase for me this year......:o

I wouldnt be suprised if I put in a order with Christof as well.....:o

Again, great review Tony. Thank you for bringing this maker to my attention, I was unaware of his stuff till this thread.

This Scandi bug Ive caught is a harsh mistress...Oh well, my BHKs need some company.
