Oh boy!
I just ordered an 18" AK and a replacement 20" Sirupati. I love the way that Uncle does business. I'm trading back my 20" General Utility Villager (which was a replacement for my original WWII that suffered handle damage),toward the AK, and the HI Sirupati will be the replacement for the Villager model that I had some problems with. The price difference is modest, and worth it to know more about the blade's origins (e.g. it IS spring steel...). I've been looking at the 'other company' that makes Khuks (GH), but working with Uncle is such a pleasure, and a nice change in today's fast-paced world, that my purchases will be made here. And, as stated elsewhere, HI Khuks are the finest in the world. This has been shown over and over again in testing. I'm glad that as well as great knives, HI has awesome service to go with them! Thanks Bill for running your business more like a family. This, along with all of the info that we get about the Kamis really makes the difference. My money here is very well spent!!! I'm really looking forward to the AK, I think that my woodpile looks nervous! (hehehe).

Lucky for them I'm not...
