Does anybody miss the single action option once the hammer is 'bobbed?' It's not like I'm going to be picking off bad guys on the ridge 1000 ft. away, I know. I understand about the hammer catching on clothing but, you know, once it's gone it's gone for good. Just wondering.

I'm one of those that would never have one bobbed, or buy one that way. Unless enough is left to be cocked manual as Moon speaks of.

For one, I can't hit crap with the long heavy double action trigger pull. I know in real life situations your not likely to have time to cock, and it will be at very close range anyway. But still, I want the option, cause I'm sure cocking for the lighter single action on the first shot if time given.

my carry piece is a sp101 .357 with no hammer spur.

Really makes pulling it out from under clothes, or pocket snag free. There are trade offs with not having the spur. If you don't like it, with out one, you could always put a new part back on.

its in there some where

Nice bunch of poppers there! My MKII and Super Single Six get the bulk of the range time. Nail drivers. I have found that I don't like the 'screw & washer' look on the grips of this SP101 but I'll throw a couple hundred rounds down the pipe before I do any cosmetic changes. I bet there is a hex screw for this gun.
